In this programme, greater emphasis will be placed on swimming efficiency, technicalities, great water confidence and speed. The sessions will focus on stroke technique as well as distance swimming with varying pace requirements.
Cross Training serves as a preparation phase for those who will eventually participate in competitive swimming. Basic swimming rules standardized by Federation Internationale De Natation (FINA), the sport's official governing body, will be emphasized. Swimmers will be able to gain competitive exposure through participation in friendly swim meets.
